Are you interested in increasing your use of IT for Teaching English as a Foreign Language? Would you like to know more about the whats, whys and hows of teaching foreign languages with IT? If yes, this may be the right module for you.

The module aims to provide opportunities for in-depth studies of IT and digital literacy in the context of professional expectations for teachers of English as a foreign language in the 21st century. We focus on the what by working with different types of digital technologies (software and hardware). We focus on the why by looking into theories and models for digital literacy and mobile learning as well as the formative aspects and competences required in a sustainable education for the future. We focus on the how by working on the practical implementation of technologies in concrete teaching situations and by experimenting with ways of catering for learning outside the physical space of the classroom.
