BSc Nursing

A professional bachelor's degree in nursing is a three and a half year programme that qualifies you to become a registered nurse in Denmark and many other countries. Studying for a bachelor's degree in nursing at University College UCC will provide you with the skills necessary to fully understand and analyse the life circumstances of your patients.

The nursing programme combines theory and practice (clinical placement). When you have completed the programme, you will be able to use your understanding of people and practical nursing skills to improve the specific situation of your patients. You will also be able to continue your studies at postgraduate level.

Our full degree programme at bachelor/graduate level is taught in Danish. If you are fluent in Danish, Swedish or Norwegian, you may study our full degree programme. For more information on the full degree programme, see our Danish website, www.ucc.dk. We also welcome exchange students in clinical placements. For more information, contact our International Coordinator Mathilde Larsen at MALA@ucc.dk.

Study environment

UCC's nursing education is offered at our campus in the heart of North Zealand, which is home to more than 1,800 students and approximately 200 employees. The campus provides a framework for five professional bachelor degree programmes, research and development, and activities in the professional fields of health and education.

The campus is centrally located; it is only a five-minute walk to the nearest station (Hilleroed Station) and a 30-minute trip to the centre of Copenhagen.
